Anniversary Trip

We drove down to Cali for our anniversary... we love road trips!   

Seaworld was our first adventure, we went to all the cute shows but our favorite part was this mirror at the kids play land that makes you look fat. We were seriously there for 15 minutes just laughing at ourselves.  The picture doesn't give it justice, we literally looked obese!

California Adventure was our next theme park, this day was our favorite!  The Toy Story 3D ride rocks! We could not get enough of it though I am still bitter that I lost every game and now I owe Danny enough back rubs to last him a lifetime! 

We went to Disneyland our third day, the longest we waited for a ride was 15 minutes!  We went on Space Mountain 6 times, the weather was perfect and we met Mickey, what more could we ask for?!

We went to the beach and never took a picture!  We forgot because we were in the water boogie boarding the whole time!  I have sand burns on my legs because I got going so fast!

We had to go to Universal Studios and do the Hollywood thing, The Simpsons ride was awesome!  Hollywood was cool, it reminded me of Vegas... so many crazy people!

We went to the San Diego Temple, it is beautiful inside and out!  All the theme parks and the beach were so fun, but it was so nice to take a break and have a nice day at the temple.  

This trip couldn't have been better! 

We made it! We have been married for a year!  Thats right, we are professionals now so if anyone needs advice...  But seriously this last year has been the greatest year of my life.  I have never had so much fun learning and growing and the best part about it is I have spent it with my best friend!  Danny you are my sweethead, there is no doubt about it!  Thank you for making me laugh everyday, and always giving me something to look forward to.  You are always pushing yourself and setting goals.  Watching you makes me want to be a better person!  I am so lucky to have you, I win!

Time is a thief

One of the best things about Jared coming home, besides the obvious of him being home, is that all of the siblings were under the same roof at the same time!  This rarely happens, and I can't decide if it's because there are so many of us or if  life is too busy!... probably both.  I just can't believe how fast time is ticking!  I guess it is true what they say, "Time is the Ultimate Thief, it just takes and takes and never gives back."  It's a good thing we've got forever!

Jared is HOME!!

It's been months, and so much has happened!  The most recent is that Jared is HOME!  It was a surprise to all of us, especially him that he came home last Monday the 16th of March.  He injured his shoulder last November and has been in excruciating pain ever since.  Sleeping pills, pain medications, steroids, nothing worked.  He basically served the remaining 6 months of his mission with awful pain and no sleep!  I don't know anyone else that could handle this situation as well as he has, what an amazing example of serving a honorable, full-time mission. We all know that he is home for a reason, I have already learned so much from him just in these past two weeks.   Love you Jared!

It's vibrato

My parents took us to Olive Garden the other night.  We really had a super fun time!  

Did I mention we had a really fun time?  Long story short, some waiters came to sing to us and Danny asked them to sing in "labrato" but the way to pronounce it is "vibrato"  

So we got in this discussion about how the word is pronounced.  We had our waiter go around and ask if anyone knew who was right.  She came back and said it was "vibrato" and told Danny that he was probably mixing vibrato up with la beeto

Can't Sleep!!

I know I know, it's 3:00 am and I can't sleep!  So I have been looking through my pictures and found this one from our Arizona trip, doesn't that just melt your heart?  Nothing better than the man you love holding a baby.  I can't help but think what an amazing dad he is going to be... Actually now that I am thinking about it, I can't wait when they are old enough that he can get all of his teasing out on them!  Thats even better than holding a baby!

The Dentist

I hate the dentist.  Wait let me rephrase that, I love what dentists do but I hate how it has to be done.  I just have never been comfortable sitting in that chair with the bright light shining in my mouth and up my nose, feeling paranoid that there might be something they can see up there!  I always wear black.  I learned in High School, when I used to sweat from being nervous, that black is the best color to wear to hide your sweat.  It is disgusting, but true.  I bet Jennifer Anniston got the 411 on that.  Anyways, the gum check is the worst part of the appointment, I always wonder how annoyed the assistant must get with me ever time my body flinches and I make a face that says, "That hurt."  I guess the point I am trying to get across is that I do not enjoy going to the dentist at all, but I truly do appreciate all that they do for my mouth.
