Little Footsies

You see these cute little feet, I LOVE them! I love when they move, and there is nothing better than feeling him kick me. I am a worry wart. I am pretty sure I have my mom to thank for that trait :) so its been a roller coaster for me the past month because I hardly ever felt him move. I was convinced that something was wrong! I didn't start feeling him move until 21 weeks, but just the past few days he has been kicking me on a regular basis. There is NOTHING better! Now he is practicing his penalty shot and other future soccer skills and I couldn't be happier. He also finally kicked for Dan last night, its been a frustrating patient game he has been playing on him for a month, but last night made it all worth it. I am hoping my worrying days are over.

An Oh Good Day

Yesterday was my BIG 24th Birthday!! It seriously was the best day EVER! And I will tell you why...


To start off the day we got to go to the doctors office and see our cute growing baby inside of me. It was amazing to watch it move and wiggle around, and so reassuring to see its healthy heart and know that everything is normal and okay. We also found out that we are having a BOY!! It was quite the shock because everyone "knew" we were having a girl, but we seriously couldn't be more thrilled to start our family with a boy!


After work Danny took me to Texas Roadhouse, which by the way is my new favorite restaurant! How come no one told me what I have been missing out on?? Those amazing rolls, delicious salad, LOADED potatoes and a tender steak... I can taste it right now! If you haven't been, you need to go... its changed my life. To finish off the day we had to get in a few games of Ticket To Ride. It is the funnest board game! We are addicted, and its well worth all the countless hours we have spent playing it.


So I can honestly say that I don't know anyone that has had a better birthday than the one I just had. If all I did was go to my doctors appointment, it still would've been the best day. I can't express enough how grateful I am that we are going to have a healthy baby. I am also so thankful for my husband who made everything perfect today. I love being married to my best friend, and couldn't ask for a better partner in life and dad to our future kids. Life is the greatest.

Happy Everything

It's been so long! Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!! I am way too lazy to post pictures, but just so you know the Holidays were so much fun, we spent every minute with family, it couldn't have been better... and don't worry our Christmas tree is STILL up. Danny refuses to take it down, he is in denial that Christmas is over and hates the cold winter, this tree "brings warmth to his heart" :) Isn't he adorable. Well I am finally over the 24/7 non stop nasuea and sickness and am really enjoying being pregnant now! We find out in 2 weeks what we are having!! I can't wait. I just want to know what it is! We really don't care either way, just hope its healthy. I am still working, and plan on until I have the baby. Danny is working full time and taking 22 credits this semester!! Pretty sure he wins some crazy award for that! I seriously can't believe how hard of a worker Danny is, Oh yah and Danny wants to start being called "Dan" This is going to be a hard one for me since I have already written Danny four times in this post. We will see how that goes.

The GREATEST Surprise!

This picture is telling the truth... we are actually PREGNANT! Besides the fact that this picture looks like a teen pregnancy with our awesome braces on, we are so excited!! This past month has been so surreal, my testimony of Heavenly Fathers plan for each of us has grown so much. I know that he is in charge and knows us better than we know ourselves. I didn't feel ready when we found out and at times I still don't, but I know that the Lord will qualify me if I just do my part. I already know that Danny is going to be the greatest dad, he is SO excited and already can't wait for the little one to come out. Well I will for sure keep everyone updated on ultrasound pics and my expanding belly!

Power of Paint

Our entertainment center has always bothered me. We got it on craigslist for an awesome deal... hence the color of the wood. (The picture doesn't make it look as bad as it really is) Anyways, I just felt like when you walked into our place, BAM!! Attack of the TV stand! So after much persuasion to my dear husband, who thinks he is a better decorator than me, bless his heart. I bought some paint and went to work! It's amazing what paint can do.

Braces Faces!!

We always wanted to know if we would've been attracted to each other in Jr. High... so we both got braces!! Well, not really. The true story is that I work at an orthodontic office and my boss wanted to fix my bite, so I got braces. Just two weeks later we found out that Danny's bite was off too so... TADA!!! It's going to be a LONG 9-12 months for both of us!

The Most Competitive Family

This is my family's idea of a "Fun Night" and it actually does start out fun. We play around the world so everyone can join in, once you get three strikes you sit out. After the third game its just not enough to be a winner... you now have to be acknowledged if you are a loser. I don't know about you but I see "pride" written all over my poor brothers back!
