Lost and NOT Found

So all of our pictures are on our Mac, and SOMEONE (i think we all know who) has lost the charger to this Mac. SO, I need to get another charger but more important things seem to keep coming up. For now I just need to say that our fast progressing home is just about finished, and our even faster progressing Baby Ty is growing up way too quickly! He is rolling around everywhere, moving in circles, holding his bottle, and bringing more joy into our lives than we could ever hope for. Basically life is treating us very well :) Pics hopefully up this weekend!

Updates

We NEVER planned on being into a house this early in life so we are feeling very blessed and a little obsessed with our constant progressing home. We seriously stop by every day and it feels like christmas every day we do! Ty loves coming too, its probably just because we are basically outside when we go inside, but I love to pretend that he understands what is happening.

All the framing is done! Danny has started on the deck and we are hoping to have that done sometime next week. Sorry if this stuff is boring to you, but I think this will be fun to have and see especially years down the road. So something not boring at all...

Our little monster. We love him sooo much! We were with family the other night and they were shooting nerf guns so Danny put one on Ty's head and he started making this face like he just got shot, he did it all night. It was hilarious.

Also our little guy is addicted to the TV! He gets upset when he can hear it but not see it, he is such a stubborn one :) I am pretty sure The Office is his favorite and he loves watching football with his dad.

Summer Happenings

So a lot has happened this summer...and I haven't blogged about one single thing! I am just going to apologize now that some of these pictures were taken a couple of months ago, but I will be so mad at myself if I don't do a quick recap on the past 3 months.

We blessed Ty on the 4th of July. He was only a month old and was an angel all day. Its funny I was so nervous that morning it felt like I was going to be the one blessing him! Dan did a great job and Ty was so cute, it seemed like he knew it was his special day.

We were able to see a lot of family that came down to visit. We had a lot of BBQ's and late nights of 3-13 and Ticket to Ride. Of course we made it to the annual Seven Peaks get together (even though Ty was only a few weeks old) I was able to get a few rides in, though every time I ran back to make sure he was okay :)

Boating was a lot of fun this summer! I was actually dreading it, but I underestimated my son! He loved being on the boat! I wasn't able to do much behind the boat this year, but Dan was awesome on the wakeboard and surf board as usual. I am learning to have fun by watching other people experience fun...now I am really starting to sound like a Mom!

My sister came to visit right after I had the baby. She was 35 weeks pregnant and drove 10 hours with her two other kids, she has always been the best sister and greatest supporter! Unfortuanetly I didn't get any pictures when she came the fist time, but I did get some the last time she came! This is Ty and his younger cousin Jake, they are 7 weeks apart! Can you tell which one is older and younger? They are basically the same size.

We had a Family Reunion on my moms side in Fairview. It was so fun to see everyone, relax, play card games first thing in the morning while eating breakfast, and continue to play til 2am the next morning. The weather was beautiful, except for our lake day, figures. Ty just loves being outside, I love how his hand is on Dannys shoulder.

The last trip we took was to Washington D.C. We went for a twin study that we have been apart of for the past 8 years. They paid for the flights, hotel, food, and even paid us for the testing we did! This was our group. Six of us siblings were part of the testing. I am not going to share much about the testing but I will just say that I am a HORRIBLE test taker and I am sure the people that tested me were trying so hard not to laugh.

We were able to go to most of the sights and museums, at least the ones that everyone told us to go to. I LOVED seeing the Declaration of Independence, it was actually a very spiritual experience to see. The Holocaust Museum is something I will never forget, everyone should go.

Having Ty was a lot of fun, but I don't think I will ever take a baby on a trip like that again. It was too much being nervous on the airplane and praying that he wouldn't cry, taking him down to the dirty metro and trying to keep him covered from the infectious diseases floating around everywhere, just being out of my element with a baby was pretty stressful, its a good thing I had my family with me to help out.

And that is it! Pretty quick and simple. My boys are getting pretty bored with me so I am gonna end this before they fall asleep on me again.

STATS

I got to take this little man to his 2 month check up...
We are still recovering.
Weight: 11 1/2 lbs (35%)
Height: 22 3/4 inches (37%)
Head: 15 1/2 inches (30%)
He was so good when he got his shots, he didn't scream, he did that heartbreaking whimper cry with his sweet little pouty face that said, "How could you do this to me?" It literally broke my heart. After his appointment I went down to the pharmacy to get him some infant Tylenol, the lady that was helping me started talking to Ty and asked him about his shots; to which he started pouting again and gave a whimpering sigh and started telling her the whole story, he really is the sweetest thing.

I thought he would be in higher percentiles since everyone tells me how big he is and are so surprised he is only 2 months. I am finding that its more his mannerisms, he doesn't act like he is 2 month! He doesn't like to cuddle, he has been rolling over since 3 weeks, he likes to be held up like in this picture, he farts ALL the time (just like his dad) he loves to stand up on his legs, he turns his head in every way possible, and he hates to go to sleep like a 2 year old!

Does this look like a 2 month old to you??
