A Quick Christmas/New Year

I am such a terrible blogger! It's already 2011 and I just posted about our Maui trip... It's a New Year and time for some New Goals! The Holidays were so much fun. We soaked in all the time we had with our family, and its been so fun to have our own little family now. December consisted of: Kurt Bestor Concert, lots of white elephant parties, school/work break, late nights playing nerts, eating way too much, gift exchanges, LOTS of Family Time, too many trips to walmart, Dan on the guitar singing christmas songs, cooking cooking cooking, afternoon naps, loving every second of it all. This was the only picture I could find on Christmas, but at least I got one! My little sister got us all new pajamas :)

Life has been good to us: We are living in our home and loving our neighbors (and having a garage and yard.) I was able to go back to work to help us get the loan. Dan is on his last semester before graduating. Ty has been growing way to quickly he is sitting up, army crawling everywhere, has two bottom teeth (his first one came in while we were in Hawaii), puts his arms out to be held, eating fruits/veggies/rice cereal and getting super chunky, and slowly starting to wave with his fingers. I do take pictures of him, it just takes me forever to upload them on my computer... Like I said, I am making some New Goals.

Maui Trip

We went to Maui a couple of weeks ago with some of Dan's family; his parents, Scottie and Jessica. We all had a really great time with lots of sun, the beach, hiking, snorkeling, and boogie boarding! It was weird to see christmas trees and hear christmas music while laying on the beach, but it was a very relaxing trip and fun to get away from the cold for awhile. WE DID NOT TAKE TY. It was the hardest thing I have done up to this point in my life! My Mom had him for the week which was wonderful so I didn't have to worry if he was being taken care of, because really he was just fine without me!... I was the one who wasn't fine! No, Dan says I did good and luckily we had Skype so that made it a little easier :) Hope you enjoy some pics we took in Maui!

Lost and NOT Found

So all of our pictures are on our Mac, and SOMEONE (i think we all know who) has lost the charger to this Mac. SO, I need to get another charger but more important things seem to keep coming up. For now I just need to say that our fast progressing home is just about finished, and our even faster progressing Baby Ty is growing up way too quickly! He is rolling around everywhere, moving in circles, holding his bottle, and bringing more joy into our lives than we could ever hope for. Basically life is treating us very well :) Pics hopefully up this weekend!

Updates

We NEVER planned on being into a house this early in life so we are feeling very blessed and a little obsessed with our constant progressing home. We seriously stop by every day and it feels like christmas every day we do! Ty loves coming too, its probably just because we are basically outside when we go inside, but I love to pretend that he understands what is happening.

All the framing is done! Danny has started on the deck and we are hoping to have that done sometime next week. Sorry if this stuff is boring to you, but I think this will be fun to have and see especially years down the road. So something not boring at all...

Our little monster. We love him sooo much! We were with family the other night and they were shooting nerf guns so Danny put one on Ty's head and he started making this face like he just got shot, he did it all night. It was hilarious.

Also our little guy is addicted to the TV! He gets upset when he can hear it but not see it, he is such a stubborn one :) I am pretty sure The Office is his favorite and he loves watching football with his dad.
