Three Years!!!

We celebrated our 3 year anniversary on Monday. I worked all day, and Dan had finals but we were able to sneak in some yummy Texas Roadhouse and a movie into our night.
I still can't believe we have been married for 3 years, have our Little Ty and will be having another baby in August! I love, and laugh, looking through our engagement/wedding photos and remembering those easier times in life and how we thought we knew everything... Though life continues to get busier and harder in ways, I wouldn't trade what I have now for anything! I am amazed every year at how much our love and friendship grows. It's so exciting! I love looking forward to what life brings, and the best part about it is being able to share all of this and go through all of this with my Best Friend.
Love you forever Dan

Few Randoms

My sister in law did the cutest birthday party for her oldest boy, it was like a mini carnival! The kids had all of these fun stations and one of them was "face painting." Dan was in charge of this one and had a lot of fun, especially making Ty into a little devil. I can't get the picture with the finished result to download so you kind of get the idea, he looked adorable. :)

Dan and I were able to go on a date to a Jazz game. We were on the third row! It was kind of weird, in the beginning it felt like we were at a High School game because we were so close to the players! Ronnie Price and I made eye contact... I swear!! But we had SO much fun! The funnest part was that it was just me and Dan. We like to go out to eat and do things but usually bring Ty with us (its just easier) but you don't realize how all your attention goes to your baby until he's not around. It was fun to have an adult conversation and not have to worry if I had everything in the diaper bag. Thanks to my mom who watched him last second for us.

What is up with this weather?!! I had this funny picture of all three of us making sad faces out in the cold, but of course another picture that won't download! Ugh!! Anyways, this one did so you can see how cute Ty looks in his little russian hat. We went to my brothers soccer game and it was Freeeezing!!! But Ty was a good sport, he always is.

My M&M

MONSTER:
How can you not fall in love with this little face? It's a good thing he has a smile that melts my heart because this little monster is the busiest thing that crawls around! He has just discovered how to open cabinets (not my favorite thing, but probably his) He loves to play with toilet paper, anything found in the garbage, all things that are plugged in (dangerous) Puts ANYTHING and EVERYTHING in his mouth (very dangerous) and his latest and greatest, playing with the toilet brush cleaner.
...and I still love him more than ever!
MUSICIAN:
I really think that Ty will be some sort of musician one day. He LOVES music! Even when he was in my tummy he would move around like crazy when we blasted music on the radio or Dan sang to him with the guitar, though he never really moved when I sang... hmmm?

Anyways, anytime I play the piano he comes over in a flash and is standing next to me,playing the keys with his tiny fingers. One of his favorite things is to sit on the bench and go to town on his own little song. Another thing he always seems to be right next to is his dad playing the guitar. He gets SO mad if he can't strum the strings with him. A lot of times we will lay the guitar on the floor so he can do his own thing.

He also loves to sing. I wish I could record him in church when we sing the hymns because he is out of control. It is the cutest thing ever, I think he might be one of those kids in primary that belts every word out when they sing in sacrament meeting. Can't Wait.

My Heart Feels Too Small

I still can't believe that I am pregnant. This has been a completely different experience than it was when I was pregnant with Ty. Sometimes I forget that I have a little baby in me! I know that sounds awful, but it's true. It's just so different this time around. I have a baby that I can hold, kiss, play with and take care of, he keeps me busy and takes my mind off of things which is really nice when I am feeling sick. I have finally gotten used to being a mom to Ty and I LOVE it. No one can prepare you for how much you love your baby, and how that love grows. Ty is my ray of sunshine, he is the sweetest little thing in my life. He makes me laugh every single day. My favorite days are when I am home all day and its just me and my little man. I can't even explain how much I love him, I feel like my heart could burst! I know this sounds so cliche but it just feels too overwhelming to somehow make room in my tiny heart for another baby. I know its been done before, but the anticipation is seriously killing me! I have been an emotional wreck today! Poor Dan. It's times like this where I think I am glad I am a girl because I would not want to have to deal with one! I know everything will be okay, somehow I will be capable of loving another one just like I love Ty but I am in the moment and just wanna cry!

I Think It's Time To Tell

Yes. I am feeling like it is time. We have had some crazy experiences and unexpected things happen the last while, which I would like to share so first off I do need to tell you all that we are PREGNANT!! Surprisingly, this news would be the "unexpected thing that happened." I found out the day we got back from Hawaii, I had that weird feeling in my gut the whole trip and when we got home I found one test in my bathroom drawer... which is crazy because I thought I used all the tests from finding out about Ty, But there it was, and after a few minutes it was there with two red lines. I was home alone, which wasn't the best situation because I was having a selfish moment and just not feeling ready to be sick, emotional, and fat again! Fortunately my terrible, selfish thoughts have completely changed, especially after a "crazy experience" we had a month ago. I started bleeding really bad one night, so bad that we thought for sure I had miscarried. It was a very emotional and hard yet spiritual night. As hard as it was, we finally accepted the fact that this was Heavenly Fathers will. The next morning we went into the Doctor to confirm what what had happened. They did an ultrasound to check everything, and there on that screen was our little baby, laying there safely with a strong, healthy heartbeat! I don't know how to explain all the things I have learned through this experience/miracle, but I will say it has reminded me how blessed we all are and also that we need to be ready for any trial or trying time that may come because they will come. This past month I have realized even more how Life is such a precious gift. I am still bleeding. I go in every two weeks for an ultrasound, I am SO thankful for the technology we have to be able to monitor situations like these. I am also grateful to know that whatever happens we will be alright. Our doctor is very optimistic that everything will be okay.
I know Ty doesn't understand what is going on right now, but I like to look at this picture and think that he is already having fun playing with his little brother... or sister, but we think its a boy. We feel very blessed and are so excited to add another member to our family.
