Tub Time

Well I had just finished writing the whole story of Ty's birth and the week at the hospital but somehow lost it :( It's going to take me awhile to have the patience to write it again, but on a happier note Ty had his first "real" bath the other day! It took forever for his umbilical cord to fall out but now its out and he is loving tub time.

Grandma came over and gave him his first real bath in the sink just like we all did when we were babies. Can't believe how much my little guy is growing, loving being a mom.

Ty Daniel

He is here! Baby Ty decided to come on May 31, I know that was a week and a half ago... Blogging just isn't my top priority right now. His story of how he came is a little crazy and the first week of his life is even crazier! I will post details as soon as I can, for now he is safe, healthy, and we are loving every second of our new little family.

Cali Trip

Turns out we were able to go to Cali!! It was such a fun week, we took my younger brother Jared and my twin sisters Kristi and Holly with us. We usually like to vacation alone, but with me being pregnant we thought it would be fun to have some people with us since I couldn't do everything... or so we thought :)

One of our first days there, Dan and I went to the San Diego Zoo. I had never been there before so I was really stoked! I think I sat at every bench I came too, that place is huge! We walked way too much! Dan loved the orangutans, this little guy sat in this corner for so long, we took a ton of pics but this by far was my favorite, it looks like he is trying to bite his face off!

Danny is convinced he is prego. He is always saying how he has felt all the signs and symptoms with me throughout the pregnancy, he knows exactly what I have been going through :) This is me at 36 weeks

California Adventures was one of our funnest days! It is our favorite place! I was excited, but not thrilled since I knew that being pregnant I wouldn't be able to do all the things I wanted to. Well after a couple of hours being there we found out that most of the signs said they don't recommend pregnant women going on the rides... recommend.

So! I was able to do everything except the California Screamer. Yes I went on Soarin, the Log Ride, and even Tower of Terror! It was so much fun! I know our baby loved it! He is going to be an adventurous one, I just know it! We also went to all the 3D shows and of course our favorite, Toy Story.

The Beach. What more can I say, it was WONDERFUL! This pic is awful, I know, but I had to show how I had the genius idea of digging a huge hole that my belly could fit into so that I can sun tan and relax.

He are the Professional Boogie Boarders. They went out for hours and hours, it was so fun to watch them catch the waves. Seriously by the end of the week they were way good!

We drove by the Newport Temple, I had never seen a picture of it before. It is absolutely beautiful, and the temple grounds are amazing.

One funny story, I bought shampoo and conditioner for the condo we were staying at (which by the way was awesome, we played tennis every morning, they had badminton and shuffle board courts, a pool and hot tub, Bbq grills, ping pong, etc...) Anyways, after our first day there I realized I had bought two shampoos so we ran to the store and I grabbed a conditioner, later on my sister went to use it and realized I had bought another shampoo! Seriously, I am losing it!

The trip was so fun, I am so happy we were able to go! I think we are going to take this picture every time we go and see how our family changes through the years. Its already started to happen.

2 years

We have been married for two years, and I am still as excited as I was the day we got married! Marriage is awesome. I love spending everyday with my best friend, and growing and progressing together. This past year we have had some great memorable times, and some hard ones too; but I would not take anything back for what we have right now. Every good and bad thing we have gone through has made our marriage that much better. To celebrate, we went out to eat and did a card exchange. My card had a gift card to go shopping, which I will be using AFTER I have the baby and hopefully get back to my normal self and Danny got a bunch of stuff from his favorite store, Ross. We also made a deal... we came up with a verbal contract of two things that each of us needs to work on and promised the other person we would spend everyday this next year working on it.

We even shook on it, I know that everyone who knows Danny knows this was all his idea; and thats why I love him so much! He is always looking for ways to be better. He is supposed to work on 1- Being more Romantic and 2- Eating with his mouth closed :) I will be working on 1-My pride, try to take positive criticism and 2-Not over-reacting, I guess I tend to be a drama queen at times. We were laughing so hard promising each other these things, but I really am excited to see how well we will do. Wish us luck!!

34 weeks

34 weeks!! Am I the only one that is freaking out here? I can't believe I am having this baby in less than 6 weeks!
So Dan and I have had this Cali trip planned for what seems like forever, we are supposed to leave on Sunday and enjoy a wonderful week of the sun, beach, the sun, and just relaxing! We have been looking forward to this trip for way too long... The only problem is I had my doctors appointment last week and doc said that if I am dilated past a 2 I can't go! I am trying to stay positive and not even think about not going, but really?? Am I really going to be dilated a 3 or 4 when I still have 5 weeks to go? I need some words of comfort!! So, just to be safe since my appointment I haven't worked out, cleaned my house, or done any sort of activity that would speed this process. Of course we care more about our baby then a trip to Cali, so if doc says don't go we won't and I know it will be so worth it when we have this baby in our hometown and not in a desert on the side of a road in a van. :)

30 weeks

Finally a picture! I can't believe I am already 30 weeks, that means only 10 weeks left! AH!! I am trying not to freak out! Seriously my whole life I have noticed girls talking about marriage, their dream house, the wedding day, and careers... all I have ever wanted to be is a mom. I can't believe in 2 1/2 months this dream of mine is going to come true! We are not ready at all. We don't even have a crib, is that pathetic? We actually have had some problems with our spare room that is supposed to be the nursery, so we are trying to get everything figured out before we put things together. I will post about that nightmare when I have more time to explain. For now, I am seriously just taking this one day at a time and praying that the problem will be fixed before we bring this little miracle into our home. Being pregnant has been such a joy. I honestly feel like I have never been this happy in my life, we even joke how I have this new laugh now (which is scary and true, I don't know where it came from?!) Besides the first trimester I have felt fine, I am still able to work, clean houses and even work out! It's funny because when I think back on when we found out we were pregnant, it seems forever ago! And now we just have 10 weeks left before our lives change forever. It's going to be a good life.
