I Think It's Time To Tell

Yes. I am feeling like it is time. We have had some crazy experiences and unexpected things happen the last while, which I would like to share so first off I do need to tell you all that we are PREGNANT!! Surprisingly, this news would be the "unexpected thing that happened." I found out the day we got back from Hawaii, I had that weird feeling in my gut the whole trip and when we got home I found one test in my bathroom drawer... which is crazy because I thought I used all the tests from finding out about Ty, But there it was, and after a few minutes it was there with two red lines. I was home alone, which wasn't the best situation because I was having a selfish moment and just not feeling ready to be sick, emotional, and fat again! Fortunately my terrible, selfish thoughts have completely changed, especially after a "crazy experience" we had a month ago. I started bleeding really bad one night, so bad that we thought for sure I had miscarried. It was a very emotional and hard yet spiritual night. As hard as it was, we finally accepted the fact that this was Heavenly Fathers will. The next morning we went into the Doctor to confirm what what had happened. They did an ultrasound to check everything, and there on that screen was our little baby, laying there safely with a strong, healthy heartbeat! I don't know how to explain all the things I have learned through this experience/miracle, but I will say it has reminded me how blessed we all are and also that we need to be ready for any trial or trying time that may come because they will come. This past month I have realized even more how Life is such a precious gift. I am still bleeding. I go in every two weeks for an ultrasound, I am SO thankful for the technology we have to be able to monitor situations like these. I am also grateful to know that whatever happens we will be alright. Our doctor is very optimistic that everything will be okay.
I know Ty doesn't understand what is going on right now, but I like to look at this picture and think that he is already having fun playing with his little brother... or sister, but we think its a boy. We feel very blessed and are so excited to add another member to our family.

congratulations! everest was my surprise baby and i had a really, really hard time accepting the fact that i was even pregnant. it is really hard to have that HUGE of a responsibility sprung on you. so don’t feel guilty about feeling nervous for #2 to come along! it's so scary when there's complications... I'm sorry!

O my goodness! Congrats you guys! That is so exciting. Heather, take it easy and let your body heal. Take it from someone who has been there. It is amazing what our bodies are able to do and especially those little ones. Take it easy! I'm so happy for you guys. Congrats girlie!

I told Danny congrats a couple of weeks ago when we talked but I didn't have a chance to say congrats to the one doing all the real "work". So, Congrats! Crazy how life throws us all little curve balls when we least expect it. That's awesome that you have #2 on the way. Our thoughts will be with your little family for sure hoping that all goes well for you guys from here on out. We'll be in town in a few weeks and we'd love to get together with you guys to catch up. My apologies for the long post.
