I love family traditions! Icing shortbread nuggets has been in our family since before I was born.  I remember introducing them to Danny last year, and was so offended because he didn't think they were "amazing" like I said they were.  What is his problem?... absolutely nothing because since then I have come to learn that any person outside our family doesn't think anything special about these delicious cookies!  It is the fun memories and yearly tradition of icing them that makes them so tasty and something we all look forward to every year!!... so now, a year later, Danny is part of the family and thinks they are amazing :)

Lagoon Day

We went to Lagoon the last day it was open for the season, which we now know is the best day to go! The weather was perfect, lines were 5 minutes long, and we got to do Frightmares at night. Half way through the day we went our to our car watched The Office and took a nap... so pretty much the best day ever!

We just thought these were hilarious

California

I went to Cali for a work seminar with my favorite coworkers, Brooke and Jill...

...and yes the highlight was a nice bike ride on the boardwalk, those huge seats were awesome! It was my first trip away from Danny, so pretty big deal!  Everyone keeps telling me that this honeymoon stage will pass, does it have to?!

Halloween

Danny just didn't understand why none of the kids wanted to go to him?

We also dressed up for work, I wasn't too stoked for it but it turned out way fun.  My favorite costumes were tweedle dee and tweedle dum...  Brooke and Jill were such good sports!

Seriously, I know I graduated forever ago but I still have cavemen pride!  I know Danny will have it one day too...  Anyways my little sisters and I went to Payson to watch my brother, Devin, compete for first in the marching band.  Devin is in the drum line and they are amazing!  They took everything in Payson, and just got back from Vegas and took everything from there as well. I have never really appreciated the marching band thing until my brother became apart of it, but let me tell you it takes great talent to do what these kids do!  Marching, counting, playing their instrument, moving around the field in different places, all at the same time, it really is so cool to watch!  Devin has dedicated so much of his time and sacrificed a lot to do what he does, and for how good they are it pays off!  I am so proud of my brother!  They are going to nationals in a couple of weeks and things are looking really good for them, I have to say it... GO AF!!

Park City

We got to go up to Park City and stay at a condo for a weekend.  We had so much fun just hanging out, being lazy and eating.  We rented a bunch of TV shows and stayed up all night!  It was fun to just get away from the normal day to day things.  We brought up some bikes and got around that way, in the beginning I felt like I was 6 years old again trying to learn, but I finally was able to keep up with Danny.  One of our adventures was biking up to the Olympic Park, it was pretty rough!  I should've taken a picture of the gradual, huge hill we had to bike up, but we made it and were able to watch some kids practice skiing of those huge jumps!  I can't believe people really do that!

Go Real!

My parents invited some of us to the Real soccer game last weekend... so fun!  I grew up playing soccer, but never really enjoyed watching the MLS games on tv.  The game just moved too slow and seemed boring, but actually being there at the stadium was amazing!  I found myself getting way too into it and I didn't even know the players names!  I guess I can blame my enthusiasm on my mom (which isn't a bad thing) who taught me how to be a true soccer fan :) We had so much fun that we are thinking about buying season tickets for next year!  They also just finished their new stadium so its going to be pretty sweet!  Go Real!  How adorable are my parents?  A lot of people think I look like my mom, how lucky am I?!... I am going to be so hot when I am 48!

catching up...

So I thought I would just write a little about whats been going on the past four months.  Danny and I got married on April 25th in the Mt. Timpanogas Temple, it was the best day of  my life! One of the highlights of the day was getting left at the temple after we finished pictures, everyone was at the luncheon except for us! Luckily our photographer saved the day and got us where we needed the be! It wasn't funny at the time, but now its just hilarious!  We went on the Eastern Caribbean Cruise for our honeymoon, what an adventure that was! We highly recommend a cruise to anyone who is searching for a vacation.  We had a blast sight seeing, going to musical and comedy shows, snorkeling, going on the flow rider, and eating ourselves to death! Literally, I can still NOT loose the 5 pounds that I gained from that trip! Since we have been back we have moved three times and are recently living with Danny's parents in Alpine.  I am finding that each time we move I become more organized and familiar with what I am doing, by the end of the year I am thinking about putting together a "Moving Planner" business. What do you think?!  So a lot of things in a nut shell, I might expand more on individual stories from the cruise and wedding day, but I just wanted to get caught up for now. :)

No Turning Back!

I gave in!  I have always wanted to be like my sister, so this is my starting point.  Though I know my stories won't be nearly as interesting as hers, this is definitely a stepping stone in my life.  I am sure this process will take me weeks to figure out, and I will call Sara a million times with questions about who knows what... but its really happening, I am taking my first into the famous blogging world!
